Djinn's sapphire eyes stayed to Al-Adil's while he moved between the girls and himself, listening to this man as he spoke. Yes, every bit of anger surfaced when his sire was insulted with such indignities. His body straightened up while his hands flattened on the surface of his desk, glaring at the other man.
The apology came, and damned if he did, damned if he didn't, Djinn, at this point, had no control over his reaction, though his shadows wrapped around his feet, curling around him like a small animal to calm it's master. Taking a deep breath, the shadows curled up and around Djinn's waist, tendrils of darkness sliding over his waist to help in their calming attempts.
"I...will accept your apology now. Though...I must warn you. Do not...speak ill of him again, Al-Adil. I can not be at fault for what would happen if you do." the shadows staying at his side and legs, keeping Djinn's anger at bay as he sat down, hand shaking lightly.
He returned to powdering the henna and emptied the contents into the tin, shutting the lid quickly, and grasping a bottle of eucalyptus oil from the shelf, bagging it with the henna. Handing it towards the other man, his eyes which were now circled with a pale amber around his pupils, settled on the darker hues of Al-Adil's.
"I will come to care for your gardens tomorrow. Do remember that it will be late at night, as I have to finish my work in the shop first."
