What is this feast that is being celebrated this week? I am not familiar with Thanksgiving, I believe it's called.

It's an American holiday from when the colonists arrived from Britain. It's supposed to be to celebrate the harvest and give thanks for their good fortune, though not everyone is comfortable with it given the history of how said colonists treated the native tribes who helped them survive to begin with, or all the slavery that followed.
