Three of us did this...druid ritual. And this happened to all of us. But they moved on since and I never got that chance - I died a few months after it happened and I still have this darkness and I want to get rid of it. It's been getting worse and I don't know what to do.

It's a sacred space where Druids do their rituals. There are several of them...the one in Beacon Hills was kind of a magnet to the supernatural. It was a tree stump with dozens of large roots underground. This druid we know used it to help me, Scott, and Stiles do this sacrifice where we were spiritual surrogates and for a couple minutes so that we could find where our parents were being hidden, and...I guess it gave the Nemeton enough power to become a literal beacon again. Deaton told us it would leave a permanent darkness around our hearts.

At first it was nightmares, then hallucinations. They've both gotten worse. I tried medication to help me sleep, but it doesn't do anything.

If it's a corrosive type of darkness, it won't. Darkness gets darker, weighs more, goes deeper. Your hallucinations and nightmares will likely get worse, constant, driving you crazy.

Without intervention, of course.

You said it's attached to your heart?

Well I'm not going to juggle with it.

Yes, it's safe. It'll hurt, taking it out, putting it back. But to get the darkness out, I'd need to see how deep and how spread it is.

No. Once the darkness is removed and your heart is without it's mark, you'll be fine.

Hearts are only powerful outside of the body.
