[PRIVATE JOURNAL ENTRY]

I dreamed of Narnia again last night. Not merely of Aslan; it wasn’t the old nightmare in which a large lion spoke to me and told me I was never to return, but rather a vivid dream of those games I and my siblings used to play as children. We were queens and kings of a land so unlike this one in almost every way and yet the timing does seem curious.

Peter had those rings in his pocket. I’d nearly been brave or perhaps foolish enough to try them, but there wasn’t time and I’ve long ago stopped believing in such childish things.

Still, it is curious that I should find myself dreaming of that piece of my imagination just after finishing being myself in what seems to be another world entirely from my home. It’s almost enough to.... a part of me wants to believe again, if I could stand to let myself.

Perhaps it was just Edmund’s leprechaun singing those songs. I’m certain it will pass.

PRIVATE TO MR. TONY STARK.
I’m told you might have jobs available for those who are learning to learn and work here. Perhaps we could talk?

PRIVATE TO EDMUND PEVENSIE
My flatmate and I having an evening of supper and games this weekend. You should bring your Rose along.

That sounds like just what we need. I'll ask her.

She isn't my Rose.

Should we bring anything?

Well, of course I didn't mean it like that, but you're being awfully defensive about my phrasing.

I don't believe you need bring anything but yourselves.

You are the one who chose it.

If you're certain.

It was an expression, Ed. You're the one reading more into it. Why is that, I wonder?

Not whatever you're thinking. We've been here a month.

And yet you're still acting awfully defensive.

And I thought Lucy had a vivid imagination.

Hello, Susan. Of course. Here or would you like to meet?

I think either would suit. Edmund tells me your company deals with technology?

Yes. We have individuals from all different times and realities working together to get the best possible inventions out there, but there are other areas too: administration, advertising, and financial to name a few. We also have training programs for anything you might be interested in.

I feel I've always been better with words than numbers. I was actually studying literature at university before this Entity brought me here.

I am interested in learning more about the technology in this world, which is so far advanced from my own time, but I suspect I'll be most suited to something administrative or maybe in advertising.

Did you want to continue with school here?

Well, best of both worlds then. You can learn the technology while making use of your skills.

I was so close, it would be a shame to not finish.

That sounds perfect, thank you!
