It's around that time of month. If you're new, there's a medical clinic on the ground floor of the building. It would be handy for everyone if you took the time to stop by and fill us in on any relevant medical history or biological differences that would affect treatment.

And because it's going to be April Fools in a couple of days, I strongly suggest you avoid any pranks that might trigger a startle reflex, especially on veterans. It's just... not a good idea.

(I know I've been quiet and I'm not going to make any promises about that changing. I'm replying to texts and DMs if anyone needs me.)

I'm personally not a huge fan of the day unless you go all in on something really elaborate anyway, but poofs and smells > jumps and bangs.

Not sure about poofs, but smells are very strong memory and emotion triggers. Take that as you will.

Because the doc mentioned the startle reflex and nothing about smells. So, you know, had to check.

Smells can cause a startle reflex in some people. I know it's usually noises and movement, but I've seen people react unpleasantly to smells as well.
