I'm taking the day off to join my Mexican sisters in protesting violence against girls and women. We may be stuck here in our little corner of the universe without the horror of what's going on in Mexico and the rest of the world but I can't ignore it because that is an injustice in itself. Yesterday was International Woman's Day and this is the least I can do to honor the fiercest gender known to man.

	I didn't know there was a day for that but I don't really remember Mexico even though I grew up there I just remember hiding in the big box to come to America and it was really really hot and then Kaine saved me. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	It's not something that happens every year but I wouldn't mind if it that started to become the case because it's such an important cause. (Reply to this) (Parent)
