For your awareness, in the early hours between 3am and 4am, on the 1st of March, I will be attempting to open a portal between this world and my world's underworld in order to obtain an item.

As portals within this world have not always had the best effect, there is a chance this will massively backfire. I'm not expecting too many people to be in the area at this time, but for you night owls and reactionary types, don't go towards the swirly vortex in the park. The magical backlash if this doesn't work will likely kill anyone around me.

Nothing can come through the portal if it works, save the item I need. Nothing can get sucked in. It's just a conduit.

	I'm typically called a witch. Not quite mage-y enough. She's mentioned Templars before. She doesn't exactly speak of her world and their views on magic or mages favourably. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I'm not overly fond of the term witch.

It's not well received. I know that better than anyone considering my sister is a mage. Templars were for a long time well guided and earnest in their duty however over time became corrupt and twisted beyond all repair. That said certain mages did not help their cause by using blood magic. As with all things there is good and bad.

	For yourself, that's fine. You could call yourself a magician for all I care. I am a witch. Expendable. Front lines. Sent to do what others don't want to. If you're expected to be the best hope there is, you use the most power you can. I'd personally sooner use blood magic than die because I used something lesser. Hypothetically speaking, naturally. 	Naturally because if it were anything else then there would definitely be an issue. I may have sided with the Mages in my world but that does not mean I forgive all trespasses made by those with power that others lack. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I do so loath dancing around issues, so why don't we just cut to it? I have just warned people to busy themselves elsewhere during the witching hours, because my exponential power is going to attempt to cause a very specific tear in this reality. 	Why else does anyone do anything than for their own purpose? And since no one needs to know my business, no one needs know my reasons. Informing people of the time frame and location is literally telling them where not to be to remain safe and unaffected. Short of putting you all in bubbles there’s little else I can do.
