You know these feelings? I don't know what to do with them. Like, we all just got fucked over by the Entity twice in a row but are we now pretending it didn't happen, or am I just behind again, or does this just prove my 'distrustful nature'?

I'm not upset, I'm just --- trying to figure out how this works now. Pete deserves his family. Selfishly, I just hope mine is part of that still.

Honestly? Just keep going. Do the things you would ordinarily do. And for a long time, it's going to feel like you don't give a damn about any of it. You've had a lot happen in a short amount of time, though, and it's completely understandable to shut down because of it.

I'm also going to suggest coming down to the clinic even though I know you'll probably rant something about 'forced cheerfulness'.
