Hello? Where's my kid? Why am I in Manhattan? What the fuck happened? Did we blip again? We blipped again, didn't we. My phone's date looks completely fucked. Who's got answers, because nobody out in the street with me seems even remotely surprised.

Nothing wrong with sciencey people until they start destroying your home. A clinic sounds more like a public additive than a detractor, though.

There's a comfort in knowing some things never change.

I was largely known back home for not having ever caused widespread chaos/destruction/genocide. A lot of my work stayed strictly theoretical and some of it I never even published to avoid it being caught up in Project Rebirth or any of its off-shoots. Turned out to be a good thing, pretty much everything that went wrong was down to scientists playing with things they shouldn't.

He's pretty similar to the one I knew before too, personality-wise, but a lot more grounded. Mine didn't really have a family or anything.

Sounds like you're becoming one of my favorites with a reputation like that.

I knew him pre-kid. It was only after we came back from the blip that she was there and he was gone and Pet.

For all the good it did.

He was sort of a hot mess at home. I've heard it used to be pretty similar.

If it would have made things worse, seems like a fair amount of good.

I'd call him the hottest mess but he might take that as a compliment.

The whole place doesn't exist anymore, I don't know if it matters whether a few people might have died faster. Maybe.

Probably would, yeah.
