This would be a good moment to remind you all that you do have limits, regardless of whether they're physical or emotional. There is no shame in taking the day, or even one hour to yourself - chances are that someone equally skilled will be able to fill in.

Even I wouldn't be able to fight two dragons back to back and come out of it emotionally or physically, unscathed. Do take a minute. Take a shower. Eat. Check in with your loved ones and friends.

In other news, if you see Sam Wilson down in the infirmary, I have prescribed him bed rest, so please do restrain him and escort him back to his bedchamber.

I want at least six hours of sleep from you, Sam.

I saw. Have you told Christine?

No. Should I?

Probably.

Agreed.

No sense in fighting at half strength. Creates liabilities.

You're quite right.

I've put sleeping potions inside the meals of my troops before, but I personally draw the line at singing lullabies.

You did not strike me as a bard. You're tolerable.

I don't have a voice that was meant to sing. But bards in my world are often assassins, spies or saboteurs.

And perhaps one day, you'll hear Leliana sing. She has a lovely voice.

Hard to imagine the one I knew being any number of those things. At least not successfully

I'd prefer that.

Perhaps that is a facade.

Yeah. I've homesick for years.

Not likely.

Can't say I remember mine.

I've been told I was born in Kirkwall, The City of Chains.

But my Circle was in Ferelden, and it's the place I miss most.

Sounds like a better place than the Continent.

Not necessarily. In ten years, it's lived through a Blight, a Templar-Mage uprising, a hole in the sky and I'm sure there will be more.

But I imagine it's not kept of the beauty of the land.

I can't say I'm familiar with what feels nostalgically like home, but I would imagine any flaws would be overlooked.

Yes.

But Grey Wardens rescue our future members from a hangman's noose, pyres, and chopping blocks.

Most of them aren't what you'd call upstanding members of society.

I'm not considered an upstanding member of society. Doesn't matter.

I've a proposition, then, Solona.

Alright. What do you propose?

I have little to offer this place other than my expertise. Before, I came from a school of witchers.

I'd like to do that here. Not make my kind, but train those with potential already here.

Does he need help down there? I'm not a healer but we trained on the basics as aurors. I can heal broken bones and stop bleeding, help people sleep, or administer the potions.
