I've been trying to figure out how I feel about people taunting a genocidal robot and while I know I did too, it was just me being a brat, you know? Like, this is not the asshole who killed my parents or he'd have taunted me with holograms or some shit, but that doesn't make him any less terrifying, but I'm also not sitting this out. I owe that to myself, to my parents, to Tony, and to the Next Avengers.

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the assessment that something else is more important than fear. Remember what that Roosevelt dude said.

I know I'm an asshole like, all the time, but we didn't have a choice but to leave the Arctic and to stand up and fight, because I ruined it for everyone and put Tony in danger, and I know that leading the Next Avengers comes with making really fucking hard calls, but I am not doing that today. You're my sister and I love you and I just need one person to come out of this stuff in one piece, and that person's going to be you.
