I do hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas and had a rather delightful Boxing Day! I have to admit mine was very illuminating! The Entity, or whatever they prefer to be called, is quite amazing! I have only ever seen one at Hogwarts and I have never could have imagined having one as a pet, but...

Anyhow, can we have fireworks for New Years?

I was wondering if it was too soon to switch from cleaning up after Christmas to organising New Years on the roof.

Not at all! We should always have something to look forward to!

Honestly it would be a tragedy to have access to a rooftop space in New York City and not take advantage of it on New Years.

Is New Years in New York something grand then?

Big city with a lot of rich people and limited prime viewing space. Though with all the magicians around I think we can do better than the usual.

I am curious to see it. I have never spent a New Years away from London.

What's Boxing day?

It started as a day for masters to give gifts to their servants, as a Christmas of sorts for them. Now it is just a National Holiday meant to give everyone a day to recover from the chaos of Christmas I reckon.

Oh neat! I bet the name comes from all the boxes being given.

What did it send you?

Did you get a thestral? A hippogriff? A blast-ended skrewt?!

Of course! You can even help me name it if you wish! I cannot find a fitting enough name for her...

No. For the name! Can it be from any origin, or do you want something specific?
