I do apologise. I think I'e been remiss in my introductions. So many of us have arrived in Goodland recently, and I did want to introduce myself to everyone individually. But, it was terribly hard to keep up. So, instead Ithought I'd introduce myself here.

Hello. My name's Aziraphale. I'm an angel. I do hope I don't get in trouble for this. The paperwork would be astounding Since, a lot of people are being very open about who they are, I thought I would as well. To break the ice, so to speak.

If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them. Although, I can't really answer anything about God's plan. Since it's ineffable, and she really hasn't told me anything about it. I only ever really spoke with her the once. And, I'm quite happy to leave it at that.

Hey, you called her ‘she’.

And I can’t possibly imagine that angels could be boring. Not that I’m going to meet a lot of them, I see myself going more down than up.

The singular they is annoying. English doesn't really have many good options.

I can still hope.

Thank you. She is probably the closest approximation, but gender is hard when you don't have a physical form.

My late partner was a robot from outer space. Similar situation.

She was killed about a year ago.

Pronouns are difficult, and fluid. For example, I currently use he/him, but I could change later on. I'm not exactly male either. Depsite what I look like.

They're not big conversationalists, and you don't get any of the fun and fascinating things that you get on Earth in Heaven. Like sushi, or crepes or alcohol. It's all, fighting demons this, and when the apocalypse comes we're going to continue this war.
