I stopped by one of the many local animal shelters, simply to look or perhaps to consider an animal companion for myself. Just one, mind, but then I fell in love with this bonded pair and the next thing I knew I was signing the adoption papers. Say hello to Asteria and Marnie.

	I've always liked cats, though any animal would be difficult considering how many plants I keep! Some, I'm sure, wouldn't be healthy for a cat or a dog to get into. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I've never seen a cat so I don't know if I'm allergic or not but I didn't start wheezing when I came home so I guess that's a good sign. They're beautiful animals. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	We can try! I've been doing my best to get her socialized so she isn't afraid of other people or situations. She doesn't get too bothered when we see a cat on walks. Mostly curious. We can definitely try to see how they get along! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
