I can't say I get it in this specific circumstance, but I know that feeling. The fast and the slow. The tight chest. The weird cold. The way your mind just leaps from one thing to the next and back again over and over. But I meant Ben. There's always a chance he could show up too. And I'll grab something to drink on the way home.

There's a book of Rumi poems on my bedside table. If you need a breather, go get it. It's dumb, but he has a way with words that always brings me back to center - or at least makes for a good distraction if it doesn't.
