Out of curiosity since we're talking about it, how many people here who are 18 or over don't have a GED/high school equivalent?

I don't have one yet, but if I don't end up finishing my senior year here, I'll do the GED. maybe even Seems pretty dumb not to take advantage of the chance.

Not exactly. Kind of happened in the middle of bouncing between foster homes and following a school suspension.

I did it the other way around. Barely ever went until I was about twelve, after I was adopted. But then I left again anyway so I'd have time for sports.

Oh, USA Gymnastics has a pretty good GED program. I'm planning on teaching when Leia gets her school going and I had a half-formed idea about whether it would be worth having some kind of semi-formal independent study group so people don't feel as much like they're all on their own.

The GED is a test you can take to show you have the same level of knowledge as someone who's graduated from high school. It helps for getting work or if you want to continue to college.

We didn't really have high school, or college. Or at least, there might have been for normal kids. But, I guess maybe the Jedi Academy is almost an equivalent.
