Ok. So the most logical people behind our kidnapping is the US Government. Maybe they don't want us to know the truth behind the recent events and why people have just started to disappear by turning into dust? The question is, by turning into dust are we ending up here and why is this the case?

Eh, the government's more just kind of pointless than actively shitty. Steve's single policy is "see problem, punch problem", which is actually an okay policy in the middle of a civil war but doesn't really address much in the recovery.
