What in Merlin's name is this foolishness? Seriously. I WANT MY APPLE TREES OUT OF MY GARDENS NOW.

Anyhow, the botanical gardens will open on November 1st. Should I do a soft opening or a fantastic grand opening? A Weasley does nothing on a small scale.

	Good idea! Perhaps even a La Toussaint even to coincide with the opening. Though I am not sure a lot of people here celebrate the holiday? Seems most people are of American or British descent. It was one of my favorite fall holidays at Beauxbatons as the French do not celebrate Halloween. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Then more of a reason for me to host an educational and fun event at the gardens (which doesn't have a name yet?). It is kind of similar to the Latin celebration of La Dia de Los Muertos, maybe you are more familiar with that holiday? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Okay, so same kind of mentality and a lot less flash. It is a private day to spend with family but we put out flowers (usually Chrysanthemums) and have a big family dinner. It is nice to have a day of remembrance.

This has made me realize I would love to hold a lantern festival here one night. We could have magically enhanced lanterns (so they won't harm the environment) and send our good wishes to family, friends, and whoever else that aren't with us or has left. They're not dead but we can still send them good thoughts and prayers.
