One of the biggest reasons why Cassie's Mom, back home, was so adamant about her not following Scott or being a superhero, was because of Cassie's condition.

I don't know the specifics. Just that it was a heart defect. We didn't talk about it a lot. It was a tough subject for her since her Dad pretty much tried to save her life with the particles.

I mean, she seemed okay, but it was always on the back of my mind. ~~Which is why losing her was~~

	Cassie hasn't mentioned a heart condition and neither has Scott, but I admit I'm not super close to either. Maybe Bruce knows for sure? (Reply to this) (Parent)
