"You could pick up fishing if you retired," he teased. He could not imagine his dad doing such a thing. "I could, but you made me who I am today and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be in the FBI if it weren't for you. So, yeah, I think it would be cool if we got to work on something together." He grinned. "I got my crazy from you." If his dad was going to call him crazy, then he might as well blame him for it.
"We're all killing the planet no matter what we do. But at least we're not killing a tree that will have to get thrown out at the end of the month," he pointed out. "I'm more used to weird than normal. Is that wrong?" he asked. "You'll have to talk to Lydia about the dishes."
He nodded his head. "But this is no ordinary girl. This is Cora Hale. She's definitely not like any normal girl. You can take over for me and Lydia," he joked. "Hey, I haven't fucked up. I think I've been doing pretty well with Lydia."
