Hope's suggestion that he was collecting Lost Boys, or Lost Girls, was annoying in the fact that he couldn't fully deny the claim. Harry had always had a soft spot for kids. Sure, on the Isle he had been Uma's enforcer and shook down kids working at their parent's shop, but he had never taken more than they could afford. Plus, there was no real proof, but he had left them food if they were looking too thin. Here? He couldn't help feeling the pull to protect kids still. He was caught in his thoughts about Bubbled and Buttercup when a voice pulled his attention. He pulled his cup of coffee away from his mouth as he glanced towards the girl asking him something. His gaze flickered to the skates and then to the rink.
"Ye wear em and then try not to fall on yer face," he drawled out as he moved closer to her. He took another sip of the coffee as he studied the skates in her hands. "Lace em snug. How's your balance? Skating takes a lot of balance and grace to do it well." Harry was used to keeping his balance on heaving ships with wet decks, but ice skating wasn't something normally done on the Isle. He may have watched a movie or so about the activity though in his boredom.
"Good on ye," he saluted her with his to-go cup of coffee. "Trying new things."
