"When I was little, I spent a lot of time looking through old photographs of my parents, especially the ones from their wedding. I would always wonder why I wasn't in any of the pictures. It was odd for me to think that they had this whole life before I was even a thought. I found myself making up stories of how that day went; I won't share any of those stories now- mainly because I don't have the props I had as a child- but I have to say that being here? Having the chance to witness their love and their special day firsthand? It doesn't even compare. I wouldn't trade this for anything in the multi-verse.

I'm so incredibly thankful to have parents who have been able to show me what true love looks like and for maybe setting the bar a little high.

Congratulations. I love you both, more than you will ever know."

“I just want to say thank you to everyone who made it out today to celebrate the marriage of Tony and Pepper. They’re two wonderful people who deserve not only each other but the best life can bring them. They both have big hearts, and, when you’re with them, they make you feel like family.

“I remember when I first met Tony. I was very surprised to see him in my apartment, and maybe a little star struck. He offered me an opportunity that I’ll always be grateful for. But, more than that, he welcomed me into his home. It was a little rough at first, but he cared about me. And it was obvious he cared about those around him, too. He was -- and still is -- always trying to protect me, and to protect everyone. And I think he’s done a pretty good job of it.

“Through Tony, I met Pepper, and she, too, welcomed me into her home. She didn’t have to, but she did. This pesky kid from Queens… She, too, made me feel like family. She, too, made sure I felt like I belonged. Made sure she knew I had a place to call home. And I think that’s something both of them do; they make you feel like family.

“So let’s raise a glass to a couple that will always make you feel like family regardless of who you are or where you come from. To Tony and Pepper Stark! May the rest of your lives be blessed with all the happiness in the world!”
