Healing Demonstration

Once it looks like the crowd is settled and less and fewer people are sitting down, Hannah will begin her seminar.

Those who have volunteered to help will be sitting near the front!

Hannah will first start off by thanking everyone who came today. She will dive into a brief history of healing from her world. If you are not familiar with Harry Potter, please take a look at the wiki for an explanation. Also look here for questions on illness and disabilities. Hannah will be covering everything! Healing doesn't always have to be specific spells, but potions, balms, and salves. Hannah will have examples of everything with her and will talk about each difference and what they can do.

Now onto the demonstrations! She will call up her volunteers individually and proceed with different types of injuries, and then, of course, she will demonstrate how they are healed.

She'll specifically ask Liz Ortecho to come up and talk about her experience with Hannah and magical healing after she had been stabbed.

Hannah will take a moment to answer questions if it hadn't already been answered during the presentation. Once that's over she'll encourage everyone to enjoy the refreshments she brought and she thanked everyone for coming.

Roger is obviously 100% fine with magical healing.
Rose is also largely cool with it, since she's used to Lissa healing her. Obviously HP magic is different, but you know.
Of mine, Jim is probably the most likely to be a little weirded out by the concept of magic being real and magical healing, but he's not necessarily opposed to having it used on him. He was probably a little skeptical before seeing it in action!

	I feel like Jim will ultimately look at magic as a last resort/fix for things medicine and time can't heal, especially with there being a medical option, too. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Sure. I think he sees the benefits of blending everyone's knowledge regarding health, technology, science, etc. here. He is most comfortable with science obviously, but sees that magical healing can definitely have benefits. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	As talked about, Liz was there and shared her experience with Hannah's magical healing. She let people know that it was quick, that it didn't hurt and that it wasn't scary at all. She even lifted up her shirt as proof to show that the stab wound was gone and that there was no scarring. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Solona came because she was curious about the limitations/abilities of Hannah's kind of magic. She'll probably mention Anders (who is a much better healer than Solona is), and tell Hannah to hit him up if she needs an additional healer. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Basically Peter the entire time. There may have been some exclamations of "WHOA" and "That's so awesome!" and he may or may not have also been taking notes because why not. He's curious, and he wonders how it works, and he's kind of curious what it feels like, but he did not volunteer for anything. He mostly just watched and took notes, and if people were okay with it, he would have also taken video. But only if people/Hannah said it was okay.

	Jaina is completely fine with it. And, will probably talk to Hannah how she can usually put herself or others into a healing trance when badly healed. But, find her method fascinating. Bucky probably showed up out of curiosity. He wouldn't have any issues with magical healing in the future if it's needed, but he's also the type to make injuries seem less than they really are. :x Tbh, he'd be more apt to say yes to Hannah healing him instead of being injected with drugs (for whatever purpose) or running any tests. He is sensitive about that, k.

Angel didn't go, but he has no problem with magical healing. Though, like Bucky, he heals quickly and is used to battle wounds on a regular basis. It would take something big for him not to just patch himself up and call it a day.
