Eleven didn't really know what to think about the recent age fiasco. She remembered being younger, trying to take Eggos from the store. Tony had intercepted her before she'd used her powers to take what she wanted. She honestly hadn't known any better, though. Papa hadn't taught her about stores and buying things.
Now that she was a bit older again, and a little more aware of how the world worked, she wasn't as likely to go to the store and try to take Eggos. She didn't consider it stealing when she honestly didn't know she was supposed to pay for them. And she hadn't stolen them in any case, Tony had bought them for her.
From the first day she'd arrived in Goodland, Tony had made sure she had her Eggos. She was finishing up one as she walked, enjoying the weather, and the freedom. She didn't have to hide in Goodland. There wasn't anyone in town that wanted to exploit her for her abilities. Tony was really the only one who knew she had them.
No one else needed to know, and as long as she didn't use them to steal Eggos, and there wasn't a Demigorgon or a Mindflayer to defeat, she didn't really need to use them. Especially since she couldn't find Mike with her remote viewing. She might use her telekinesis from time, but that would be it.
And just as she was thinking about it, she noticed someone in the park who appeared to be moving small rocks and leaves with her mind. Eleven stopped and watched for a moment. She wasn't trying to be rude, or intrude, but she was fascinated by what she was seeing.
