HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MJ!

M.J.'s birthday falls on a school day so Iron Fam/House of Stark are celebrating today! All those under 18 are invited as are family members and friends of M.J. Ask M.J's player if not sure of included characters. It is set on the roof in the early evening/later afternoon. There is a taco bar, cake, ice cream, decorations, and music.

Tony + MJ

It was an eventful day. Rhodey showing in Goodland. Michelle's party. Adopting a kitten. Tony only hoped it would continue being a good type of eventful when he presented MJ with the animal. Peter seemed sure when he discussed it with Tony in the lab that week, but Tony still felt nervous.

He needed to duck out of the party several times to make sure their new family member was safely tucked away in his and Pepper's room. They kept her toys, litter-box, and bed there too. However, she definitely did not enjoy being alone so he kept stealing moments to check in so she wouldn't meow her head off.

The party looked like it was wrapping up so he excused himself one last time before disappearing downstairs. "I hope you are right about this, kid," he muttered to himself as he carried the cat up to the roof. He didn't really want the cat and her things in his room forever.

"Michelle, sweetheart?" He called as he stepped on the roof.

MJ hadn't really had a lot of birthday parties. She'd been to parties for other kids and she could be kind of social when she wanted or needed to be. She'd acted kind of ambivalent when Peter had brought up the idea of a party for her first birthday and Goodland, just sort of casually agreeing to it, but truthfully, she was pretty touched that he and Tony and Pepper would want to throw one for her. She didn't have a lot of friends in Goodland, not as many as Peter, but she had a few and even if it had just been them and the people they lived with here, she would have loved this.

She just wasn't super great at candidly admitting that.

"Hey," she said, turning around to look at Tony before letting out a completely involuntarily squeal of delight when she saw the squirming bundle of fur in his arms.

	Busted. MJ didn't like to be so obvious about how she felt, but it was kind of late to dial it back now. She nodded, reaching out for the kitty. "What's her name?" she asked. 	"Really?" She couldn't believe this perfect creature was really hers. She was beautiful and so soft and she couldn't believe she was actually hers. Tesla was Peter's, but this little angel was MJ's. "I think she looks like a Dahlia," she decided. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	MJ smiled at him, nodding. "Yeah. Black Dahlia's are kind of my favorite." She cooed softly at the little kitten, who looked mostly ambivalent about all of this, but she was a cat; that was to be expected. "I love her," she admitted, looking back at Tony. "Thank you." 	Smiling, MJ nodded. "Yeah, I don't think we should keep her up here." The roof was too open and she knew Dahlia would be better off down in the apartment. Plus, she did kind of want to check out the supplies. "Thanks," she said again before heading toward the stairs with the kitten in her arms. (Reply to this) (Parent)
