Burger Time!

It is Double Cheeseburger Day! Tony ordered a food truck for the building. It is parked in front of Ostrich's Villa from 5pm to 7pm. Menu consists of burgers, cheeseburgers, veggie burgers, black bean burgers, regular fries, sweet potato fries, and non-alcoholic drinks.

[Feel free to write IC/OOC in the comments. It could be a good way to run into characters who don't normally interact!]

	Steve was totally there for his share of cheeseburgers...probably like five. Pepper would have grumbled about eating healthy but had a cheeseburger herself. 	Mal will definitely be taking part in this, possibly more than once throughout the day. She'd be very into the cheeseburgers and fries. Expect her to have some ketchup on her face at some point as she is not the most elegant eater in the land. Buffy will also be taking part in this, trying a black bean burger and sweet potato fries. 	Klara would have gotten a cheeseburger and peeled any onions off of it. She also would have gotten sweet potato fries, which she stared at for a good long while with mild distrust. Harry knows what fries are so he got mainly that, but he did try a cheeseburger. He didn't hate it... I am down for mini threads as well. (Reply to this)

Tony enjoyed choosing "national" holidays with Peter. They mostly chose silly ones, although there were a few serious ones, like the one he chose in honor of Rhodey. It started as a joke, but Tony liked spending time with Peter and hoped they could choose a few days each month. It was also a fun way to get to know the neighbors better. He wasn't used to living in such close proximity to strangers; it seemed smart to know them, especially in such an odd reality. Plus he loved cheeseburgers.

Tony felt responsible for making sure everything went smoothly so he remained outside for the entire two hours.

School was most unsettling, but it was hardly the worst thing she had ever been subjected to in her life. Klara was not a fan of most of her classmates, but she would adjust with time. Maybe. She was trying not to think about that as she focused on the container of sweet potato fries in her hands. The poor fries were covered in mayo and ketchup, not that she had tried them with the strange mixture yet, and they looked questionable. Why were the fries orange? Were they honestly sweet?

Klara pursed her lips into a line as she walked, not looking where she was going, and somehow managed to stop inches from walking straight into Tony Stark. She blinked slowly and tilted her head back so she could stare up at the man. A look of confusion appeared on her face that was followed by panic. Her trust issues still had not quite been overcome and the sight of Tony made her freak out ever so slightly. The plants closest to them grew a few sizes bigger and she panicked harder. Klara flailed, the container in her hand leaping free into the air.

Klara was a little ashamed to admit a naughty word in German escaped her in a moment of weakness. (It wasn't like most people knew what she was saying so it was hardly like she was actually being a hypocrite.) She looked at the handful of fallen fries on the sidewalk with a look of pure sadness.

"My fries..."

Freddy wasn't thrilled to return to school, but even he had to admit he was getting bored with so much downtime. He thought it would feel different if he had more of his family around, since, honestly, it could get lonely during the day, especially when Mary attended her college courses. Still, he had a few bullies in his time and part of him expected to run into people like them in Goodland. His first day went okay, but he still worried even with his friends telling him they'd protect him. Part of him wished he had his superpowers in Goodland, but a bigger part didn't want that experience without Billy so it looked like he'd have to handle bullies the old-fashioned way. He was, needless to say, excited to take a break from homework for cheeseburgers and fries.

This reminded me that I have three characters who have rather ridiculous metabolisms. *chinhands*

Solona gladly would've shown up, because burgers hit the spot and ~~Ferelden~~ Thedas desperately needs to catch up. She had burgers, cheeseburgers, veggie burgers, black bean burgers, regular fries, sweet potato fries, and grabbed some for 'dinner' as well.

Unlike Solona, James nommed on a veggie burger and sweet potatoes, and dropped his soft drink oh noes, but fixed it with another burger, because what the hell is school and homework anyway.

Barry [...] showed admirable restraint. Dude's hungry, but he walked away with just a few burgers (with everything they were willing to throw on there) and large helpings of french fries, but grabbed some for Cisco as well. He's probably going to eat them while watching Singing In The Rain tonight (his parents are on his mind right now).

Klaus had a cheeseburger, found himself full and then fed his fries to the pigeons.

AUDREY stopped by on her way back from school/shopping and grabbed a couple of veggie burgers and a ton of fries. She also would have called up and asked Jason & Co. if they want anything, so DICK and TOMMY both got their burgers too. ;)

FRANK stopped by and picked up two regular burgers each and some fries for him and Billy cause y'know it's convenient and now he doesn't have to cook tonight.

DIB is suspicious (LOL) but gets a black bean burger and sweet potato fries. It's not a burrito, but it's some quality junk so he's happy.

Peter definitely grabbed more than his fair share of cheeseburgers, though he's not wanting to admit just how many that is, and a good helping of fries. Hew as hungry after a long day of being a student and an intern, and he doesn't need any real excuse to eat other than it's there. He was good and drank water, though, so that's something! Really, he doesn't need the sugar.

Nico grabbed some regular fries and did his best to make a quick exit so he could stare at this homework of his. Really, homework? On the first day? He knew he was behind, but homework? And it's hard. Maybe the fries will be a good comfort food. Or a good distraction.

Five is in a weird mood today, and he lost track of time, so he missed out on going down for food. When he finds out about it, he'll make a note to try to show up for the next fun event. He's just having an off day.

Rogue came down to get some burgers and would have taken off her gloves to eat them. Anyone want to bump hands while reaching for a condiment? :D

Cassie showed up and had a bunch of food.

	Natasha would never turn down a cheeseburger so she'll be there for sure. Christine hasn't had a real cheeseburger in a long time, she won't miss this. Finn and Luke probably have never seen a cheeseburger but Finn loves all Earth food, Luke will eat anything so if anyone wants to talk to them about food or anything else, I'm down for that. Most people were milling near the food truck, which by the way was a strange concept, but the pirate was content to sit on the curb further away from the group. His legs were stretched out and he tapped the toes of his boots together in a distracted manner. His burger wrapper was in his lap and the lettuce, tomato, and onion sat on it almost forgotten. He would get around to eating the healthy vittles after he finished eating the cheeseburger. Harry had stopped wolfing things down not that long ago here, deciding to actually enjoy things while he could.

He picked his soda up so he could wash out his mouth. Harry took a swig and promptly turned his head so he could spit the drink out. "Bloody Hell, told that wet noodle I wanted water, not the fizzy pop drink." He made a face to show even further dislike of things sugary sweet and carbonated. Harry sighed before taking a somewhat angry bite of the cheeseburger to attempt to make up for the soda.

This place was beyond annoying at times.

He kept a lookout for Mal, but didn't really make a huge effort since he remained sitting. Wasn't like they had a lot to talk about anyway, except maybe the fact he was actually attempting that whole job hunt thing. Utter nonsense in his opinion, but it seemed people frowned on robbery here. So he did need a flow of income.

Alice is embarrassed to admit she wanted a greasy burger and fries, and totally blames it on her pregnancy.

Diego does not eat such nonsense. He treats his body like a temple or some craziness. He's weird. However, if someone brought him a burger, he might feel obligated to eat it...

Jake will shamelessly partake of cheeseburgers and fries.

Jughead has a bottomless pit of a stomach when it comes to burgers and fries, so he'll be among the last to leave; his dad might have to drag him away.

Allison Hargreeves - came and had a black bean burger and sweet potato fries. She was smiled at everyone but mostly stuck to Hargreeves+ and roommates because writing while eating is awkward.

Alistair Theirin - came and tried some of everything he could. He's a big fan of cheeseburgers and has a Warden's appetite.
