CREATURE CONFRONTATIONS: Vanya & Five
"Oh." Vanya replied, processing the danger they had just been in all over again. This time from a more distant perspective, but also with the added danger of not just the creature, not just herself, but jumping through space with Five. The ways things could have gone catastrophically wrong in the last ten minutes was a little crazy. But then, that was just kind of their life, wasn't it?
Five's quip about sneaking out had Vanya laughing, and the colors on her devices shifted to a light blue. Calm, relaxed, happy. She felt safe here. She felt safe with Five, which was ridiculous if you just saw things o the surface - a fifteen-year-old boy making a thirty-year-old woman feel safe. He wasn't, though. He was twice her age mentally and Five had always made Vanya feel safe. As ridiculous as it seemed on the outside, Vanya was happy like this.
"Yeah, I guess it would have." She replied, finally letting out a long, heavy sigh. "Okay. Inside seems safe, and as long as those things don't come inside I'm not going to be a danger to anyone. These things work really well and I'm working on control still. If those things hadn't of gotten so far in my head that I took the necklace off it would have been fine. So, if you want to go back now and check on everyone else, I - I' not going to go nuclear."
