Vision was prepared to die. The last thing he remembered was walking up the steps to the house he shared with Wanda in Westview. They had accepted their fate. She'd go on without him. However, the next thing he knew he was in a strange place called Goodland. He read the letter several times, but it wasn't all that informative. And what was up with the ostriches? Still, the letter mentioned an apartment and a network so he dashed off a message and started for the apartment.

"Hello?" He called cautiously as he knocked.

Vision held her tightly in his arms. He didn't say anything for a moment; he was letting her words sink in. "I thought..." He shook his head. "I thought our time was drawing to a close, but now I am here." He brushed his lips against hers. Sure, Vision didn't "feel" like humans did, but he still relished her touch. "I love you so much, sweetheart. Please tell me this won't fade away."

"It was - but things are different here." Returning the kiss softly, she raised a hand to his cheek and drew back a little to gaze up at him again.

"It won't. This place...it's some kind of pocket universe that exists outside of our time and reality. There are people here who died there, and there are people here from other versions of our world. But none of that matters now, because you're here, too." And Wanda again slid her arms around him.

	Shock settled over Vision. Two years? Alone? "Oh, darling, that is such a long time. Were you lonely? Please tell me you had others to love you as I do." He took her hand and led her to the couch. He just wanted to sit and snuggle like they used to at home. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"It wasn't all bad," she admitted, willingly walking over to the couch with him and sitting slowly, leaning into him. "At first...I had just arrived from Tony's funeral. Before I went to SWORD to find...you. But earlier this year I awoke with memories of what happened there, and in Westview," she said quietly. Her eyes fell to their joined hands, a mix of emotions too complicated to fully understand washing over her.

	Tony's funeral. Tony died? How much had Vision missed in their time before Westview? "So you knew about the boys. That must have been terrible, darling." He squeezed her hand. "But we are all here now. It must remain this way." They had too many false starts. Life wouldn't be so cruel as to pull them apart again, would it? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Pushing aside those feelings, she put a smile on her face and looked back up at him again, returning the squeeze. "I truly hope that it does." She'd had so little time together in their own world that Wanda truly hoped to have more time with him now.

"For now, we'll have to make changes here. This apartment...it's become a little crowded now. We may want to see about moving into a different one together, just the four of us." The last thing she wanted was to make Steve, Bucky, and James leave - even though she was very used to having them around now.

Vision nodded. He'd do anything to make her happy. "I would like for the four of us to have time alone together," he admitted. Tommy mentioned an extended family, which Vision was grateful for, but he wanted to be selfish for a little while. He wanted his family to himself. "Love, we defied the odds. We shall remain together for a long time now." He'd fight Satan himself to keep that promise.

	"Then I'll talk to Steve and Bucky, and to the Entity and arrange it." At his words, Wanda smiled softly and snuggled in against him. "We will," she said, even if deep down she felt the slightest hint of doubt, knowing far too easily that the Entity could send people home just as quickly as they were brought here.
