Angelus never realized how bored he could get when all of his toys weren't around for him to break apart and put back together. There were some fun ones around, but not all of them, and most were sticking close to one another after he took the kid out for a nice afternoon at the park. If this was going to be the extent of the reaction, he might as well have eaten and left him for others to find. At least he would have gotten a nice meal for his trouble.
Speaking of meals, he'd had a couple snacks on those that resided in the villa, but for the most part his victims had been nobody townies that were clueless about the oddities of this place even when they had a deadly vampire staring them in the face. The theme parks had been interesting for a while, but when you see one abandoned ride or a side attraction that had been left by itself to mutate a little too long, you'd seen them all. The monotony of the city was nearly driving him mad, and Angelus longed for a good old-fashioned apocalypse. Where was a doomsday prophecy when he needed one?
After the city had gone back to normal, he noticed how easily the residents seemed to also go back to normal. There hadn't been much information spread about Angel's lack of soul and evil body double on the loose, so he could only assume that most didn't have a clue what was going on. There were a few bumps in the night done Goodland style, but no true threats had popped up since those monsters invaded the streets. Now even he could admit that had been a good time. Fighting and bashing heads. Angel the boy wonder had enjoyed it more than he'd admitted to anyone, but the concern he'd had for others when they were injured made Angelus want to dry heave just thinking about it.
It wasn't needed thanks to the ring on his finger, but Angelus still kept the shadows across the way from the villa and watched people going in and out on their merry ways, barely checking their surroundings to even bother looking both ways when crossing the street. Mindless idiots but ones that could be useful. Plus, he was hungry for a proper meal and not the random locals he'd dined off of lately.
Angelus spotted someone as they exited the building and figured they were as good as anyone else for a snack. He ducked his head as he passed the villa and walked on the opposite side of the street for a block or so until they were far enough away that no one else should recognize him. He smiled to himself once they crossed the street and stopped inside a shop. Angelus came out of his own spot in the shadows and followed suit, stepping inside the shop and gave the appearance of browsing around while keeping an eye on his target.
He picked up a shirt and positioned himself nearby only to let out an audible sigh, holding up the shirt. "It's impossible to know what to buy, isn't it?" He said casually, smiling a bit in their direction. "My girlfriend. We had a bit of a fight the last time we saw each other, over something so stupid, and I thought I'd try to make it up to her when I go back to apologize."
