Who: Steve Trevor & OTA
What: Very much wtf how did I get here and where is here and oh crap, I guess I'm alive
When: Saturday morning
Where: A park
Warnings: Look, Wonder Woman is 3 years old, assume everything Steve says and does is a potential spoiler.

Steve had made the decision to do what needed to be done nearly twenty minutes ago. But it wasn't like he'd had a lot of time to think it over, to let it sink in. How was it possible that he was finally feeling the war, the world, his life finally starting to turn around just to have it all go up in flames?

Quite literally. If he weren't about to die, he'd have laughed at his own ridiculous pun.

They said your life flashed in front of your eyes right before you died, but Steve would argue that wasn't true. A couple of choice memories stood out, things that mattered most to him, but it was faces more than anything. His reasons for living and, in this instance, his reason for dying. And of course, Diana's stunning face was front and center. With that warmth washing over him, he pulled the trigger and...

Huh. If this was Heaven, he'd been lied to in Sunday School. 'Heaven' was very loud. There were trees but, behind them, large metal buildings, far higher than the ones in London, loomed. Sure, it wasn't the first time he'd found himself in an incredibly different world but Themyscira had at least been a more natural, almost primitive looking place compared to...this.

When a piece of paper floated in front of his face, he was almost too shocked to ignore it. Until it just sort of slapped him in the face. "All right, all right." He had just met and fallen in love with an Amazonian princess created by Zeus and left her fighting Ares, the god of war. He could easily believe the paper somehow wanted to be read, no matter how weird that was.

And boy, it was in fact weird. "What the hell?" he blurted, blinking and turning the paper over in his hands several times, looking for something, anything that might make this all make sense.

Clearing his throat, Steve nodded. Politeness was important, after all. Even if he was in a completely strange new world with a girl who was blue. The important part was that the blue girl looked like a child, almost, and it wouldn't do to be mean.

"Hi, Llewella. I'm Steve, and I'm sure I wouldn't mind an escort, but you're telling me this happens often?" Honestly, he didn't hold out hope that people he knew might be there. As far as he was concerned, this was still for those that had died.

Then again, he'd lost so many friends to the war, he could also be surrounded by people he knew. It was a tough call.

"A pleasure to meet you, Steve." she bowed her head a little then smiled, "It happens relatively frequently. yes. There are a lot of us here." she smiled brightly. The teen grinned at him and gestured, "Follow me then, I will take you."

She tossed her green hair over her shoulder and started off, looking back to ensure he was following her. "It is pretty common, really, and you get used to people coming - the people who leave us are harder, I think, on most. I don't know enough people yet for it to be hard on me."
