Finally. Sure, it was sad. He was leaving everything behind. But honestly, it was hard. Being around all of the people he loved, and people he wanted to love, and not being able to say a word to anyone. Well. Anyone but Klaus. As much as Ben loved his brother, he just got really really tired of him sometimes. Being forced to watch him destroy his life and his body and not being able to do anything about it had been horribly frustrating and Ben had hated every minute of it. And at least Klaus could hear him. While the others' self-destructed, there was nothing he could do.

So yeah, the beyond was kind of a terrifying thought, but he did feel calm as the blue lights over took him and he no longer felt the comforting embrace of Vanya's arms.

And then suddenly...he felt. Everything. He felt air on his body, he felt warmth, he felt the fabric of the clothes on his skin. And he felt hungry, which was seriously weird after such a long existence without anything. That also just didn't seem like a Heaven thing, but the Greek gods were apparently all about ambrosia or whatever so...maybe?

But then he looked up and saw a familiar face. The most familiar face. The face he'd seen constantly for the better portion of his life. And he couldn't help it, he groaned out loud. "Are you serious? I finally get to Heaven and somehow you're here?" Well. He guessed it was better than his dad. But how did it work? Was this just an apparition of Klaus?
