Klaus couldn’t help but smile when she tugged at his hair. It had seemed like the right thing to do in the sixties, and he’d liked it a lot to be honest, the hair was going to stick around for a while. He leaned gently and nudged her playfully with his shoulder.
“Everything is going to be okay.” He told her gently, though he wasn’t sure if he was saying it to make her, or himself feel better. Probably both of them, at least a little. He scratched at his palm, trying to ignore the need he was feeling. Ben was right, it had been a mistake to throw away his sobriety, but he couldn’t help it now.
