When: Saturday June 27, 6pm - 9pm
Where: The fabulous La Grenouille. Freya rented out the party room, which was super fancy and decked out. (And completely a Mikaelson kind of place, like seriously Nik we should buy this restaurant)
What: Fancy party with fancy clothes if you wanted, but not required. If you make Hope cry, you'll probably die, so don't do that kaythxbai

It wasn't quite the graduation Hope had been thinking she'd have, but all things considered she wasn't upset about it. There were some faces missing from the crowd at the restaurant, but those were outnumbered by all of the new ones. She'd known that she'd spent her time at Goodland branching out and making friends, but seeing them all in one place, mingling with her family, it was more than she's realized.

In the mingling time before everyone was seated to eat, she made sure to greet everyone and thank them for coming, congratulating her fellow graduates as well. She couldn't imagine how different tonight would have been if her family hadn't arrived in May, but she knew it wouldn't have been as close to as fancy as this truly Mikaelson party. After sending the most recent guests deeper into the party room to mingle, she plucked a champagne flute off a passing tray, freshened up her smile (seriously, her cheeks hurt), and turned to greet the newest arrival.

	Freya gifted Hope some utterly fabulous clothes, and also chipped in on a group gift for her. Hope S didn't know she was supposed to bring something, but congratulates her. Tandy got her a gift card and a cheesy book of "love spells" because she thought Hope might think it hilarious. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	[Landon] pitched in on the group gift, and got her a Giant Teddy Bear with a graduation cap on it. [Klaus] put 100K in her checking account (Elijah, he says she's his daughter so he needs to give her more!) and gives her a beautiful custom diamond ring from Tiffany's with a feminine Mikaelson crest. Lizzie, Peter, and Nico all showed.

Lizzie looked amazing, as always, but I'm being a bit lazy in looking things up right now in terms of clothes. It was definitely most likely a nice dress that fit the atmosphere. Hope, your present is her presence. Enjoy it. ;) But she would have given Hope a hug (with a whispered "Don't get used to this" said in a faux annoyed way) and probably spent a good portion of the evening around people she knew (Hope, Josie, etc). But she would have been open to talking to new people, too. And was polite to Hope's family.

Peter was probably unknowingly under dressed but not sloven. He thinks this is one of those tux places upon seeing it. But he'd have been friendly and cheerful to everyone, though a bit subdued in that "friends' family" way. Said hi to Hope's family and congratulated her on graduating (which I assume he did already post ceremony or at the brunch that morning if she showed for it). He low key had sticker shock and probably ordered whatever he could find that wasn't overly expensive. Unless there's already a pre-determined menu or they're doing some Prix Fixe thing. He'd have gotten her something simple but probably gave it to her separately/before the party just cause.

Nico gave zero fucks about wearing all black, but hey, he's always clean. He wore his best skull t-shirt for this, okay? And his black bomber jacket. He even left his sword at home. He did not hug Hope (sorry, Hope. He's not there with you, yet), but he said hi and congratulated her on graduating. For anyone who died at some point (I feel this is a long list so we'll go with this lol), if they're cool with it, he might have given them curious looks, though, unless you want him to have said anything, he didn't say anything. Just gave some curious looks. He'd have talked to just about anyone and been kind of dry and sarcastic but not unfriendly. Just a bit of a smartass if the moment presented itself. He may or may not have gotten her something. If he did, he'd give it to her away from the party setting because sentimentality is awkward.

Jaina :: came to show her support for Hope. She washed off the engine grease and cleaned up nice like you do when your mom is Princess Leia.

Josie :: also there to support Hope and be only a little jealous that she has another year of high school. She also dressed up a bit. Most of her time was probably spent with Hope and/or Lizzie, but she did mingle, too.

MJ :: this is really not MJs scene, but she did show up for Hope and probably mostly hung around her and/or Peter and probably also Nico a bit. She wore a nice dress for the occasion.

Peter :: I think that per DM discussions, he was there as Lizzie's sort of date. He doesn't have a job yet and may have showed up in his Narnian High King garb unless Lizzie got him something more appropriate LOL

Rose :: Hope told Rose about the party after she made her post about grad parties, so of course Rose came to party with her friend and eat a LOT of food. She's not working yet, but managed to find a simple black dress.

Thea :: She's chatted with Hope a few times and Hope invited her to the party, so she stopped by to wish her and the other grads there well and she also would have kept an eye on Nico and kept him company if he wanted for part of the night. She's in a nice pantsuit.

Lizzie would have made sure Peter had something appropriate to wear. And politely pointed out people for him to know ("That's Hope. And there's her dad, the one I told you about? Who wanted to watch your sister and me and some of us try clothes on? You know Josie. Oh that's Spider-Man. His name's also Peter but whatever. That's Hope's hobbit of a boyfriend. That's Tandy. She's one of Hope's friends, and she's fun to talk to. There's more of her family... This is really a Hope-centric situation.... I don't know that person... Oh look! Crab puffs!" Stuff like that lol

Obviously, Freya was there as the hostess of the party. She also had baby Nik with her who occasionally tried to steal the show, but was on pretty good behavior. She'd sometimes excuse herself to take care of him, but otherwise she looked spectacular and helped Hope host, and made sure that everyone was comfortable and happy.

Tandy came and was a little overwhelmed by the fanciness, but ultimately relaxed and congratulated her friend. She took advantage of the fact that the Mikaelsons were paying to try a few different kinds of things, and especially hit up that torte dessert.

Hope Summers came to congratulate Hope M and probably asked a lot of questions about different foods, but otherwise was pretty quiet and just watched people a lot.
