who tandy and seb
what spending some time together
where animal kingdom
when today
rating/status pg-13 and on going

The breeze was pleasant enough he supposed as he stood there, his forearms resting on the railing, as he stared blankly at the tiger enclosure. A pair of dark sunglasses were over his eyes as if to protect them from the sun, but it was more to do with the fact his grip on his emotions was haphazard at best. His Elizabeth was gone, slipped right through his fingers, and any chance he had with her in this place was finally over. It was bittersweet and horrid at the same time. She had requested space, but had enjoyed flirting with him, and now he was stuck wishing to destroy things. Yesterday he had spent time using his powers to get himself and two lovely ladies booze. Sebastian normally refrained from using his powers and last night had hardly cared. So what if Tandy knew he could compel people now?

She had not seemed to mind the free drinks.

Thinking of the girl seemed to summon her. "It is a shame, is it not?" He finally spoke in his slow drawl, his accent heavier than normal in his mild exhaustion. He had needed to drink two vials of blood last night to make himself sure he could keep up the act of being normal. "They should be out in the wild, roaming their kingdoms, and yet here they are. Protected."

He finally pushed himself from the railing and pulled down on the edges of his pale grey short-sleeve button-up shirt. Sebastian held an arm out to her. "Shall we continue on this animal walk before going to that safari, my dear?" He wanted to keep drinking, he wanted to scream at the Heaven's, but above all else he wanted a distraction. Tandy was a lovely one at that. He knew he was a cruel man that deserved all the horrors thrown at him, but that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy the company of someone so willing to spend time with him.

"I wish to get something soothing to drink later, if you wish to join me."

Tandy was conflicted over the entire idea of being in a Disney park. She hadn't been the Disney-loving type in years, and now that she was here it felt too...commercial to her. Too force-fed. Like they were trying to shove the happy down your throat - and after the recent incidents in Goodland, first with the fake euphoric feelings and then the non-stop laughter, this was maybe a little too much. Still, she could imagine what Ty would say right now, if he could see her.

'Suck it up, white girl. There are kids out there who'd give up their arm to come here. Just enjoy it while you can.'

And so she was trying. Today, though, she felt a little melancholy after the previous evening of debauchery, and while her hangover had faded, she still wore her own sunglasses, with her hoodie tied around her waste, as she headed towards the animal kingdom area to check that out. When she spotted Sebastian, she almost considered leaving him be since he might want to be alone, but then figured he'd take off if he wanted.

Leaning on the railing beside him, she gave him his silence in patience, not speaking until he commented on the tigers, which caused her to tip her sunglasses down a bit so she could look over at them herself.

"They probably should have never been brought here in the first place - or been born here, however they got them. But if they were released, how long would they last, at this point?" The blonde cast her gaze towards him as he held out the arm, and after a moment, Tandy straightened and slid her arm through his - which seemed weirdly natural with him, but probably because he was from a different time, more or less.

"Lucky for you, my days is wide open. My night, too," She added with a flash of a grin. So what if flirting with a vampire was dangerous? Tandy liked him and didn't mind a little danger in her life.

"Mmm. Damage done, they would not be able to survive in the world they knew." He patted her arm with a hand before he took off at a comfortable stroll. A slow, but brilliant smile appeared on his lips as she made the remark about her night being wide open.

"Ah, so what you learned last night has not put you off? I had feared you merely enjoyed my tricks for the beverage and such I obtained for you," he mildly teased. The fact he was a vampire was not exactly a secret, but it was also something he did not openly talk about. Only a few people really knew and last night Tandy had been introduced to a part of who he really was. Sebastian was trying to behave in this century, but he was hardly a saint. The fact he drank fake blood here was something he was not exactly a fan of, but he knew hunting would get him a quick stake to the heart. That and there was the fact he was starting to count Hope as a little bit of a friend. She would not hesitate to rip his heart out if he started painting streets red so it really was best to just behave for now.

He guided Tandy down the path into the birdhouse. An eyebrow raised up as he took in the impressive space. Birds roamed freely among lush plants and the path was clearly marked so as not to mess with the habitat. They were still caged and it made him a tad annoyed. Sebastian empathized with them and it sat like a brick in his gut.

"I hear there is a lovely restaurant in this park if you would do me the honor of joining me there for dinner," he flashed her a smile. "How do you feel about eating expensive food one someone else's dime?" It was hardly like he needed food to live, but he was bored which meant he was not against using his powers to spoil Tandy some. "Or we can ride any ride you want, without anyone else. Simply name how you would like me to abuse my powers, and I will," he threw his voice low as he leaned his lips closer to her ear as if they were sharing some dangerous secret between just the two of them.

Sebastian did not handle grief well. He had replaced Cassandra with Elizabeth and now he was amusing himself with Tandy to replace Elizabeth. The girl next to him was full of life and did not mind speaking her mind and did not seem to be wrapped up in the silly things his Elizabeth had been into. He was fully certain that she would smack him if he went too far and that was a fun game to play. A fun and seductive game at that.

"The park is ours," he promised her.

"Would you be put off if I told you I've done worse?" Tandy asked it lightly, but inwardly there was a slight pang at the memory of exactly what she was referring to. Convincing someone to give you free drinks or a meal didn't really hold a candle to actually stealing their hopes or trapping them in a never-ending nightmare, particularly in light of what she'd seen Andre do with a similar power; but she tried to avoid doing that these days. It was better that way.

Part of her problem with Disney in general was that it tried to paint everything in some sort of happy light - and the aviary didn't disappoint. Sure, it looked amazing, and there were other people around oohing and ahing at the display and the birdsongs, but Tandy noticed the same thing Sebastian did: this wasn't freedom, only a gilded cage. For someone who could see another's hopes in a single touch, she had a sharply cynical side that often lent itself to an extra dash of sass.

"I don't like you just for the free booze, but it's a nice perk of knowing you," she told him. At the question, one eyebrow raised slightly as she turned her attention to him, lips curving in a smile as he continued and added his own brand of charm and seduction to the words. Tandy knew that she might not have been his first choice if Lizzie hadn't been sent home - she wasn't really anyone's first choice in any situation - but that didn't mean that she wasn't appreciative of the attention and the company. Plus, it had been a while since she'd just relaxed with a guy and seen how far things could go. Liam leaving her all those months ago had left her a little bitter when it came to sex and feelings, but that had been her fault. Maybe it was time for some fun.

"Tempting offer. Play your cards right and I might just take you up on it," Tandy replied smoothly. "But dinner's a good start." She wasn't really sure she was in the mood for a ride at the moment - at least the kind the park could provide.

Sebastian actually laughed in amusement at her attitude. "Hardly. I have done far worse as well, but I suppose we are both behaving here. That is what matters, no?"

Tandy was walking with a monster wrapped up in a pretty skin. A monster that was trying not to get himself killed. There was no point of wasting this second chance at life.

"Dinner it is, my dear." He fixated on people as a means of distracting himself lately. Life was about taking what he wanted, getting back what he deserved, and so what if he pulled people along with him for a ride? He had once been merciless in nature, but time in a box had mellowed him out mostly. The stark reminder of pretty cages here also helped remind him that he could lose everything all over again.

"The most expensive restaurant," he reached up to hook the side of his sunglasses with a finger so he could pull them down slightly. He gazed at Tandy as if she was the only person in the world at the moment as he let another slow smile grow on his lips. "I am sure we can find something, mmm, savory to enjoy together." He flicked the sunglasses back up over his eyes before moved them along out of the gilded cage. Most controlled beauty and his smile grew a tad tight.

The urge to shatter the thick glass on an enclosure grew, but he controlled himself. He wanted to destroy the perfect little prison and what was stopping him was the fact the animals would most likely pay the price. "Ah," he pointed to another path, "Looks like there is more to explore or there is the exit. Which way would my lady like to go?"

The fact that she'd gotten him to laugh was an achievement, in Tandy's eyes, and she smirked a little at his words. "That it is." So far as 'behaving' went. She still stole occasionally, to keep up her skills, and she still sometimes looked into others' hopes, but she didn't mess with them here like she had before. It counted.

"Savory and sweet, I hope. Dessert is usually the best part of a meal, after all." It was easy to quip with him, and their casual flirting was fun. Plus, she liked his smile - at least until she noticed the slight edge to it that showed it was just a little bit forced...and she had a feeling she knew why.

Tandy considered the path for a moment, then the exit. There was the chance that it might not be as relaxing as either of them wanted right now, but at the same time there seemed to be fewer people that way. Not getting overwhelmed right now was probably better, and yet.

"How about we head out for now, then come back later? Dinner and then the tree of life, maybe. It's supposed to look pretty great when they light it up at night." Sliding a small smile his way, Tandy studied him over her own sunglasses. "Or we could go see the dinosaurs."

He appreciated the fact she decided to leave the beautiful prison. Sebastian wasn't sure how much he could handle being around things he wanted to free. Humans certainly enjoyed displaying their trophies, did they not? He flashed her a slightly more relaxed grin as he nodded in agreement. "I say let's see where leaving takes us. Anything could happen."

It didn't take long to find their way out of the walking path and he narrowed his eyes slightly behind his sunglasses at how much brighter it was out in the open area. He glanced at Tandy and raised a hand to tuck some free strands of hair behind her ear. He leaned in close so his mouth practically brushed her ear as he spoke. "Come on, let's go explore. I think dinosaurs might be intriguing." He straightened with a smirk and continued their little walk as if nothing had happened.

The park was fascinating in the fact the styles changed. The sheer amount of detail they shoved at everything was something he could appreciate, even if it was a tad unnerving as well. It was like history was being forced into modern times, rather like him. He shifted his arm down hers until they were holding hands. His fingers laced with hers as he changed the direction they were walking. He was fully planning to lead them towards the dinosaur part, but a small alcove that was pretty hidden caught his attention. A wicked grin appeared on his lips as he gave her a tug towards that spot. He walked backward for a moment until his back hit the building that was shielding them from view and he bit his lower lip as he watched her.

"Tell me no," he said with a dangerous grin.

Tandy enjoyed the walk and the lack of people as they left the more crowded area, content to remain silent for now and just bask in the company and attention. When he leaned in close, she didn't flinch away, instead only giving him an innocent smile in return, though it didn't match the devious glint in her eyes. "Lead the way."

Okay, this was definitely better, even though Tandy found it a little amusing that this was based off the whole premise of a park full of dinosaurs. There was an entire movie series about why that was a bad idea, after all, and she was about to suggest watching them sometime, when Sebastian quite easily distracted her by taking her hand. Arching her eyebrow as he changed their direction, it only took a moment for her to realize his intentions, and she was smirking by the time they stopped.

Tandy pushed her sunglasses up to the top of her head - perhaps a dangerous move considering the power he'd revealed the night before - but she was in the mood for a little bit of a thrill. Plus, she trusted him not to use it on her, considering it wasn't like she actually was saying no right now.

Stepping in a little closer, Tandy tilted her head. "What if I'd rather say yes?"

Trusting Sebastian was a dangerous game to play. "Well, if you'd rather say yes," he drawled out before closing the remaining distance between them. He was shoving aside the anger and disappoint that he felt at Elizabeth leaving caused him by giving Tandy a kiss that screamed promises of other things. His arms wrapped around her waist as they kissed.

Hope was going to be very unamused most likely when she found out. It almost looked like he was moving on from Elizabeth rather quickly, but she had held him at an arm's length for months. Her leaving was just finally a release from the prison she had trapped him in. Neither turning him away or accepting him. It had been an uncomfortable existence to say the least.

He finally pulled back from the kiss and gave her a soft smile.

"That is what would happen if you said yes, my lady." He reached up to run the pad of his thumb over her lower lip before bringing said thumb to his own lips. "Dinosaurs now?" His tone was a tad teasing as he glanced towards the little entryway to this hidden alcove.

Tandy had gotten by on her wits alone on the street for years, and knew how to read a guy's intentions - usually. Thankfully, Sebastian wasn't that hard to read at the moment, which meant that while he gave her all the time in the world to back away or stop him, she chose not to. After all, she wasn't the one with a back to a building right now.

She returned the kiss with no problem whatsoever, willingly stepping in closer as his arms slid around her, and lifting her own to loop them lightly around his neck. While she knew Hope would probably have things to say about this little turn of events, right now Tandy's focus was on Sebastian, which was fine with her.

As he drew back from her, she smiled as well, her tongue absently licking her lip. "In that case, I'm saying yes - but not to the dinosaurs. They've waited long enough, they can hold off a little longer."

"Oh? You do not mind making them wait?" Sebastian couldn't help the low sounding chuckle that escaped him before he shifted to look at her again. He moved his arms just enough that he could rest his hands on her hips. He gave her a slight squeeze as he smiled like the cat that had found the perfect indulgent cream to partake of. "If you are certain."

He brought a hand up to cup her cheek for a moment before he leaned forward to kiss her again. As they kissed his fingers tangled in the hair at the back of her head. Thoughts of Elizabeth were fleeing his mind rapidly as he allowed himself to get lost in the blonde in his arms. This was a far safer and less destructive way to distract himself, plus it was also extremely pleasurable.

"I believe," he said with a smile against her lips. "We are doing this park a tad wrong, according to most people." Seb hardly cared if he was missing out on the whole park experience. He somehow doubted Tandy cared either at the moment. She seemed rather keen on the whole idea of misbehaving with him after all.

"What's five minutes compared to a few million years?" She quipped with a grin, lifting her chin slightly to accompany the sass in her words. It was just her lucky day that he seemed to like that edge of her, and she was more than pleased to indulge him for now.

Speaking of indulging - Tandy tilted her head against his hand just a bit before he was lowering his head again, and Tandy was more than willing to kiss him in return. She didn't want to seem too eager, but she definitely closed any remaining distance between them at the moment.

Her eyes opened as she rested her forehead against his, and she gave a quiet chuckle. "Screw most people. We're doing alright from my point of view." They had their alcove, after all.

"Mmm, I do not think I am looking to screw most people," he said with a smirk. Tandy was quite the willing distraction and Sebastian was thankful for that. Enjoying time like this with her was like drowning his feelings with a fine scotch. Hardly healthy, but neither of them seemed to care. She knew he had been into Elizabeth, had mourned her departure just last night, and yet she was a willing participant in the kissing. That meant Seb could at least pretend he was just as innocent as her in this.

He gave her a slow smile before brushing his lips against her cheek as he moved towards her ear. "We could skip the dinosaurs altogether, love. Go straight for dessert." He lightly bit the edge of her ear before he burst out laughing. He pulled her into for a hug where he buried his face in her neck.

Sebastian grinned against her flesh. "We can go to the restaurant, indulge, and then go enjoy ourselves elsewhere in the park?"

"I'm relieved to hear that," she replied with a soft laugh, before tipping her head back against the hand in her hair, a little surprised to find herself almost craving the touch. Tandy's eyes slid shut when he leaned in, only to give a faint pout at the teasing nip that ended in his laughter and a hug.

Well, maybe staying there in public wasn't the best idea, considering how turned on she was at the moment.

Tandy lightly brushed her lips across his cheek, then gave a nod. "I think that's a great plan. Lead the way, Sebastian," she murmured in his own ear, before lifting her head. "But I'm still ordering dessert first," she told him with a sly wink.

"As my lady commands," he said in a husky voice on purpose. Sebastian slowly drew his arms back from the embrace, making sure to brush her sides with his fingers as he grinned. He laced his fingers through hers again as he took her hand. He brought her hand up to his lips and brushed her knuckles against his mouth.

"Dessert first," he agreed before finally shifting so he could lead them out of the alcove and back out into the more public area. He paused for a second to press a kiss against her cheek as if they were an honest couple. Seb was amusing himself and couldn't wait to see what this day brought now. He planned on taking her to Tiffins, a rather expensive place that would pass the time. They could have easily eaten somewhere else, but this was Sebastian. He enjoyed indulging.

The journey to the restaurant perhaps took a bit longer than it should have and that was perfectly fine. A few stolen kisses, a few moments studying things that caught his attention, and the like. By the time they reached the restaurant he had a permanent smirk on his lips.

Tandy on the other hand was doing her best to stay cool and collected, but she couldn't help the small grin on her own lips when they reached the restaurant. After all, it'd been a while since she had done anything like this and at the moment she was quite happy to enjoy it while she could. Thanks to Sebastian, they were shown to a cozy table easily enough, and Tandy immediately asked about the dessert specials even as she settled into a seat beside Sebastian - the better to touch his leg under the table after all.

After their drinks were ordered, she gave him a lazy smile. "I could get used to this kind of thing." She could also get bored of it at some point, but for now? This was a welcome change for her.
