The fact that she'd gotten him to laugh was an achievement, in Tandy's eyes, and she smirked a little at his words. "That it is." So far as 'behaving' went. She still stole occasionally, to keep up her skills, and she still sometimes looked into others' hopes, but she didn't mess with them here like she had before. It counted.
"Savory and sweet, I hope. Dessert is usually the best part of a meal, after all." It was easy to quip with him, and their casual flirting was fun. Plus, she liked his smile - at least until she noticed the slight edge to it that showed it was just a little bit forced...and she had a feeling she knew why.
Tandy considered the path for a moment, then the exit. There was the chance that it might not be as relaxing as either of them wanted right now, but at the same time there seemed to be fewer people that way. Not getting overwhelmed right now was probably better, and yet.
"How about we head out for now, then come back later? Dinner and then the tree of life, maybe. It's supposed to look pretty great when they light it up at night." Sliding a small smile his way, Tandy studied him over her own sunglasses. "Or we could go see the dinosaurs."
