She watched him, as she so often had, listening not only with her ears but her eyes. And her other senses. Of course she had sensed her own passing coming. That was alright. She had died defending her people. And the universe, if the Aether was involved. That was important. But it did mean she had left this boy with no mother to scold him when he talked nonsense and to tease him regarding his apparent love life.

"If you weren't seeing a mortal, I wouldn't even know you. Though it seems another you finally listened to me and we'd the Lady Sif?" A smirk crossed her features and she fixed him with a 'look'. "I'm so looking forward to meeting the girl. And...apparently, my own daughter as well." That was one thing even her gifts hadn't shown her. Thor was the only child she had been blessed with, and Loki as her chosen son. The idea that not one but two little girls had come after was taking some time.
