It was a big step, taking in siblings like he had, but they were from a similar age as him and he knew how confusing that it could all be. He had been given the luxury of at least knowing Klaus, and having his time in the hospital to handle the change of everything so his heart went out to the two kids.
"Of course," Dave said with a large grin. "I can make you something for lunch if you'd like." He offered. He didn't know exactly what sort of foods she ate, or if she or her brother were particularly picky. "Maybe a little later we can go shopping for some things that you and your brother enjoy-- food and clothes and books." Dave had been working and being as frugal as he was he had enough to spare on them.
