Who James Potter, Sirius Black & Bellatrix Lestrange What A second meeting. When Thursday, September 1st Where Bellatrix's second hotel room. Rating TBD
I wish I never had taken this dare I wasn't quite prepared doll me up in my bad luck
James felt weird, standing in the muggle elevator besides Sirius Black, once they'd reached the muggle hotel and stepped in to go up to Bellatrix's floor. He was trying to work out everything that Sirius had told him about what was going on in the past few weeks, and make some sense of it.
It didn't make any sense to him that Sirius should care at all what happened to his cousin, or his brother. They'd made their bed and they weren't just laying in it--they were just trying to pull Sirius in with them and it made James uncomfortably not for his own sake, but for his friend's.
He wrinkled his nose to raise his glasses on his nose as the numbers for the floors started to light up, and then finally he just cast a sideways glance at his friend and tried to smile slightly.
"You know, it isn't too late. We could still just turn around and leave---her problems don't have to be yours, Sirius." James tried to keep his tone light and as similar to how he usually talked to Black as he could, but it just wasn't happening. He was afraid of what was happening here, not just today, but for what might be happening to his friend.
