Re: The Lounge - Cass and Tim and Open
All she said was his name, but for him that was more than enough. From the tone, to the volume she used he divined enough of her meaning to realize that his words had truly touched her, as he had intended them. And when she started to move and look around the lounge, he knew also what it was that she was looking for, and that was an exciting prospect indeed. The simple knowledge that she wanted him as much as he wanted her. It seemed nothing had changed since their last encounter, except that their need for one another had grown. And while his own desire had largely been borne initially of lust, there was something else there too. And when he felt it, he realized that he wanted much more than her body.
...Though it was hard to think of much else, currently.
He followed the eyes of Cassie as she searched for a place of seclusion, to no avail. When the press pointed their cameras at them he thought first of somehow making them disappear, but he ended up instead pulling his date close for a quick pose. It was hardly what he wanted to do with her, but it would have to suffice for the moment.
After they escaped those prying eyes, Tim could not make a further suggestion before Cassie made one of her own. It still was not what he... or either of them really wanted, he knew, but it would have to do for now. Without hesitation, he nodded and lead her toward the dance floor. "Yes."
Tim did not know the song that was playing, but he took one of Cassie's hands in his own, and placed the other upon her hip, pulling her close. The music was nothing but a means to an end. He found the rhythm, stuck to it, and danced slowly and in time with Cassie, holding her as close as he could.
At one point he extended his arm to spin her out and away from him, only to draw her back just as soon and dip her low to the floor. Not because the music or the dance steps called for it, so much as he simply wanted to do it. And in that moment when he held her over the floor with her body arched like a tensed bow he kissed her without reservation, no longer caring about who saw him do it. For on the one hand, he really had no such concern. And on the other he realized that the more intimacy he showed toward Cassie, the less anyone would suspect that either of them had an ulterior motive in being here.
Which was for Tim the best win-win situation he had ever been in.
