Re: The Lounge - Cass and Tim and Open
As it happened Tim was not paying much heed to the food either. His eyes were hungry, but only for Cassie. Each second and moment he was near her he could not help but think of the last time they were alone together. Only several hundred pair of eyes kept his passions at bay, especially since Dick was present. For as much as he wanted Cassie, he did not feel all too comfortable getting too close to her in front of him.
But he remained close none the less, taking advantage of each and every opportunity to touch her in some way. Be it her hand, the small of her back, or her shoulder when he passed around her. At one point while he was grabbing some fruit for a small plate in his hand, he passed just behind her, pausing just long enough to press a little kiss to the back of her neck.
When other people Tim knew from around the city came to exchange words, he kept an arm ever present about the waist of Cassie, and introduced her with fond, heart felt words. For there was much about this mission that he had to hide, but his feelings for Cassie were not among them.
After a break in conversation with the son of a Senator, Tim purposefully stole Cassie away to as quiet an area as could be had, speaking softly.
"I just wanted to tell you right now, while I have a chance, that this..." And to exemplify what he meant by this, he squeezed her hand, indicating the two of them. "...is real to me. Each word and every moment."
