Re: The Atrium - Dick & Tim
"That was never a question", Tim replied coolly, as he offered up a little smile to Dick. He had not meant his words to sound like a quip of any sort, but saw after he said the words how they could be taken that way. And it seemed that he was doing that a lot to Dick of late, but never with intention. With the exception of Bruce who was now gone, there was no other man on Earth he loved and felt closer to, even with their differences that the circumstances that had divided them over the last couple years.
He did not always agree with Dick or his decisions. He never would. But he respected and looked up to Dick enough that he would defer to his leadership and his judgment everytime. Even if he thought he had a better idea of his own, which was... fairly frequent.
"I mean yes, she does, and I appreciate your help in that regard. I only wish I had let her know how I felt sooner, though..." He did not want to say exactly what he was thinking. That it may well have not worked with Bruce alive. And so he refrained. "...times are different now."
To clear the air more, he gave Dick a hug.
"I promise to give Lizzy a chance. After my background check clears, of course."
