Babs nodded but said, "Word in the precinct is that it was a mugging gone bad. Bruce was in the wrong place at the wrong time." Not that she necessarily believed that, but everything seemed pretty cut and dry. Only they were still without the ones responsible for Bruce's death. She felt bad for Dick, considering upon his return he was suddenly thrust into the role he had before complained about being in the way.
"Ah, now that's what you should have started with," Babs smirked and nudged him a bit, "Not strutting in the way you did. Would have saved you from getting hit." She might have punched him in the arm but god, hitting him in the face to get that look off...
The subject needed changing though. "How's Lizzy doing?" she asked, "I only heard about stuff through the paper. And I'm sort of wondering what she's doing here..." She eyed him suspiciously.
