Snape/Lupin Drabble Community

“Didn’t think you’d have the bollocks to show tonight, Lupin.”

Anger only half the reason my heart was hammering.

“W-we have tutoring…” Remus stuttered.  I watched his face pale.

“You don’t deserve my help, you spineless prick.”

I felt my anger slipping. 

“They had me up-side down!  And you did nothing!”  My temples throbbed from glaring.  “You chose them!” 

“I know…   I- I had to…”

“You had to?...”  I repeated, incredulously.

“There are things…” he started.  “You don’t know…”

“Do they know?”  I demanded.

Ice settled in my chest.

“Yes…” he whispered, looking away.

“As I said, Lupin… ‘you chose’.”
