Snape/Lupin Drabble Community

And there is a HOWLING WIND
A ringing around my ears
And a wild wild wind is a blowing
Tearing down my tears*

Remus heard the words in his head as attempted to keep from screaming.  The knowledge was a dry hot wind that tore through his soul.

Forty days in the desert sand
Forty nights on my hands and knees
Forty days in the howling wind*

It wasn’t possible that he survived and Severus hadn't.  He needed to see for himself.  Nonsensical voices swirled around him.  Nothing would keep him from Severus most certainly not well-meaning friends, logic or death.
