Snape was not an easy or thoughtful man. Yet, when he passed Honeydukes Sweetshop and saw Remus Lupin through the window, sampling truffles… Well, then he found himself walking in and straight up to the counter.

“I would like a dozen of those,” Severus pointed to the dark chocolate truffles filled with rum filling, “and those,” his finger stabbed toward a pyramid of milk chocolate hazelnut crème truffles in the display case.

“Are these a gift?”

“No, they’re a bribe. Now give me the boxes.”

Remus shared his truffles, eating some delicately from Severus’ quivering stomach. “Mm, very delicious, Severus.”
