"I asked for Miss Granger's table."  Severus sniffed to the hostess.

"This is Miss Granger's table, sir."

"Hello Severus."  Remus smiled.

"I am here to give her a letter of recommendation and to review her cv."

"I am as well.  I'm sure she'll be here any moment."

Severus took the chair opposite.  Twenty minutes later they were both staring at their watches and making awkward small talk.

"We've been set up haven’t we?"

"Almost certainly"

"If this is a date, might I suggest steak and firewhisky instead of tea and cakes?"  Remus suggested.

"You're buying."  Severus stood up.

"Of course."
