Title: The Glory

Challenge: #213: Pride
Disclaimer: I don’t own them… I just play.
He hated that their creations came so easily... so effortlessly. Lupin’s project flowed easily from industrious hands. He had been advised at least three times to "frog" it. He hated frogging. He grit his teeth as he manipulated the delicate instruments, wishing for a good bottle of scotch.
Then Remus exclaimed delightedly, "Severus! You did it!"
He... what? The others in the group applauded him, smiling at his first success. He stared astonished at the piece in his hands, his chest swelling with emotion.
His first sock!
"Now you just need to start the second one," Remus said, smiling proudly.
