Swag/Doorprize drop off

Hi! To drop off your contributions, you can call me at room 2528 (dacro is my roomie, along with mr dacro and mr dracofiend) and stop by if someone is in, or you can also get in touch with aliciamasters or djin7 if you have their contact info.

We're putting the goodie bags together tomorrow, Thurs, from 4-6 pm in room 2528 (my room) so feel free to get in touch before then if you're around!

INFO re: DINNER and SWAG/DOOR PRIZE CONTRIBUTIONS

DINNER INFORMATION

If you'd like to be added to the sign-up list, please comment here (or on the sign-up list post) by this Thursday, July 31, so that I can provide Edwardo's with the final headcount. We are on a pre-set meal plan (food selections have already been made, with some folks' special dietary needs accounted for--please comment if you haven't done so previously) and the cost will be $20 per person, with payment to be made at the door. We'll be at the Edwardo's that's within (reasonable) walking distance:

Please remember the dinner starts promptly on Friday at 7:30 pm; we only have the restaurant for 2 hours so please make every effort to be right on time! I understand some folks may be coming from the general slash meetup (at 5:30 on Friday). For those who'd like to leave as a group from the hotel, please meet by the clock near the main entrance off Michigan Avenue of Hilton Chicago Hotel at 7 pm; we will leave at around 7:10 pm.

CONTRIBUTIONS

If you have any contributions to either the goodie bags or the free raffle for door prizes that you haven't mentioned on this comm or to me ([info]dracofiend), [info]aliciamasters or [info]djin7 yet, please comment! We are putting the goodie bags together on Thursday from 4-6 pm in my hotel room; I'll be getting in Wednesday around 4ish and Alicia will be getting late on Wed night. I'll be posting the room location on Wednesday after I check in; if you could track us down before or during 4-6 on Thursday to provide us with your contribution(s), we'll be able to put them into the bags! We can also add items later on Thurs or Fri during the day, but we'd like to have the bags complete as possible by 6 pm Thurs. For door prizes, feel free to give them to us beforehand or bring them to the restaurant on Friday.

Goodie bag contributions

I really need to buckle down, and start planning these. What I'd love to do is plan a little more so I don't completely freak out think we have too little this year.

Last year was an embarrassment of riches, and I'm hoping we can show those other slashers how Snarry fen do things!!!

I'm going to screen comments, so that the goodies will be a surprise to all but those planning the event. If there are two contributions that are the same, I'll email you directly. I will not do that if there's no issue; ie, two buttons.

Please let us know a description of what you'd like to contribute, how many you'll be bringing, and your email. We had 70 at Prophecy, so I'm guessing we will need 100 items, but if you are bringing fewer, we will alternate with an equivalent gift. No worries!

Thanks to all who contribute! I must say that [info]accioslash was MVP last year, so I hope we have some crafty folks!
