Author's Note: Dear chiralove, I don't mind telling you, your prompt gave me no small amount of panic. Then I convinced myself that you were being tongue in cheek. (It's a coping mechanism—my powers of denial are legendary.) So, the resulting fic is probably not what you had in mind. It was, however, undeniably inspired by your prompt in an odd but entirely sincere way, and for that, I thank you. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
