Author's Note: Happy New Year, ravenna! Thank you so much for the prompt. This story kind of took on a life of its own, and I don't think that would have happened if I hadn't tried a Snape POV for the first time. I hope you enjoy the results.

	Yay for AU! Even though it's a bit of a sidenote, I really did love Remus and Sirius being the ones that raised Harry. I also really liked the addition of the magical creatures and fauna. Very creative. (Reply to this) (Thread)

I second that. AU=love.

I've always had a soft spot for the classic stories where Remus and Sirius raise Harry. Plus it just makes sense to me that no matter what Dumbledore might have planned, the Durselys would have eventually been reported to the authorities as an abusive family and they would have lost custody of Harry. And Remus is awfully clever ...

Maybe someday I will revisit this AU and tell some of Harry's growing up stories.

And I'm glad you like my critters.
